Abstract:
Tocharian A has two pronominal forms that are rarely discussed in the literature: an allative anac and an ablative anäṣ. These forms could theoretically be perfect matches of the pronominal stem reflected by among others Slavic onъ and Lithuanian anàs. It is argued that although these Tocharian A pronominal forms are ultimately related to the Balto-Slavic pronominal stem, they are not a perfect match. Instead, they result from inner-Tocharian developments.
